  Product arrived battered and creased (we had to discard the surround as it was so badly damaged, and we bought a new one when we had it framed). The illustration itself was not bad but the children could have been anyone and only bore a slight resemblance to ours. Also, many of our family members agreed that it wasn't worth what we had paid for it.

  What a uniquely gorgeous idea - I bought this for my husband as a xmas present from the children (3.5yrs and 16ms). The artist (whoever he/she is!) has absolutely captured their essence, as well as how they look. Anyone who knows my boys can see instantly who the characters are in the picture. A really special gift that we will both treasure forever.

  I loved the idea of this illustration of our sons, but I have to say I was very disappointed when I received the end product. I had listed a number of their favourite things and only one was picked up on - so they were both just put in a train. Also neither of the children in the picture really looked like our sons - apart from hair and eye colour! I thought more effort would have been put into their likeness' in the picture.

  We LOVED the illustration, it captures both of our children incredibly well and was my best present this Christmas. It was great to get their two favorite soft toys in and will be a household treasure for years to come. The frame complemented the illustration perfectly.

  Poor printed quality (and wasn't expecting a copy) with a badly fitted glass (too small) and a white frame that has black gaps across the join for each corner (badly fitted). Also wasn't expecting yellow sketch lines behind the illustration - I know this is the style, but yellow makes it look dis-coloured.

  I Know it is an illustration and not a portait, however I thought there would have been more similarities as I supplied plenty of photographs of my children.

  I was incredibly disappointed with this item. Whilst I appreciate it was not supposed to be a portrait, there was nothing on the print (not an actual drawing) that told me these were my grandsons. There was absolutely no point in sending any photographs as both the faces were exactly alike. I eventually got half my money refunded but I was not happy with that either as even paying £39.50 for what was the equivalent of a hallmark card was daylight robbery!

We are sincerely sorry to hear that you didn't like the Illustrated picture. As you have mentioned, it is not a portrait but a representation of the information and pictures provided. It is a hand drawn bespoke piece of artwork but understand that sometimes it's hard to envisage the finished result when buying something personalised online.
