Hello and welcome to Pippin & Tog. Pippin & Tog specialise in creating hand-painted, vintage, shabby chic furniture and decorative items for the home.

In her own quest to find unique, pre-loved hand painted shabby chic furniture, former magazine Art Editor Alison Buckland was inspired to create her own individual pieces. This love turned into an obsession and in 2009 she set up Pippin & Tog, selling her unique, French-inspired shabby chic vintage furniture and decorative items from her home in rural Suffolk.

She searches for unique, beautiful vintage furniture and paints, ages, distresses or decorates it to give it a whole new lease of life. Each piece shows some signs of the little dents and knocks which furniture gains over time and Alison works with these features, further adding to its character.

Furniture at Pippin & Tog appeals to those who are tired of that mass-produced look to their furniture and are looking for something which has character and a sense of nostalgia; items which no one else will have.

No two pieces are ever identical at Pippin & Tog, so once they are gone they're gone! 'Upcycling' is the ethos – taking well-made furniture from the past and updating for today's home, reclaiming revitalising and reusing. She uses specialised paints of the highest quality and with low VOCs.
