  This was lovely, I bought it as a Christmas gift and in fact in came earlier than it had said it would be ready (which is always nice). Because I thought it would be late I gave my sister-in-law's address to send it to, and the seller had taken out the order details and put a note in to say it was a gift from me, which was really nice.

  It is a really sweet little gift however I didn't realise it would be A6 a fact that I didn't read properly from the sellers info on the product plus I think it would be better if it was bound rather than a pocket cover. I think it is a lttle expensive for what it is but think it's very pretty.

It is a little difficult for me to comment as I am not sure what it was about your items that you felt lacked value for money but I hope the following clarifies things a little: The journals contain a quality hard-backed notebook by Winsor & Graham in an A6 size as sated in the product info. The cover is made from a cotton linen fabric with appliquéd wheelbarrow and flower pots, the whole embellished with a large amount of hand embroidery including a hand embroidered personalisation. The price reflects the high amount of time and care such a handmade product demands compared to mass produced to create a unique and individual item.   The joural is much smaller than expected, however embroidery is good. I would not order the journal again- too expensive for the price.

  The journal is beautiful - well crafted on the outside with a high quality notebook inside from Winsor & Newton. A really great, unique, personalised gift. I would also like to say I had superb personal customer service from pipany when I had a query with my order. Thank you!
