Peninsula Pens can facilitate your own wedding day pen from our unique list of pens. All pens are presented in a velvet pen box and measurements will depend on pen sellected. Please note the colour of the wood used in manufacturing the pen may vary from the our shop picture. This is due to how the piece of wood used has reacted to the whisky stored within it.
As the pens have been made from redundant Bushmills whiskey barrels. The wood needs to be oiled every four weeks to ensure it does not dry out. Peninsula Pens have the ability to offer some different finishes to our pens eg gold, chrome and sterling silver, please check with us to see if the particular finish you wish is available in the pen you require via 'ask seller a question'.
Each Peninsula Pen has a story to tell, it is presented in a beautiful velvet box with silk lining. Once the box is opened the story begins.
Your chosen recipient is immediately presented with the aroma of the whiskey that has soaked into the wood over the many years of the distilling process. A small piece of the barrel used in the making of your pen is contained inside each box. This wood will be lasered with a message telling the story of who made the pen, the name of the pen and where the whiskey barrel came from.
This unique gift made from our past history will be used in writing their new history.
