A unique poem about friendship written by Pearl and Earl creator Jacqui Pearce for one of her friends.

Our art prints and poems have been designed and composed in house by Jacqui since 2007, and are based on her own fond memories and experiences.

true friends are hard to find, and worth their weight in gold,.. an ear to always listen, and sometimes a hand to hold,.. they share with you fond memories, and all those precious things,.. that after a glass or two of wine, make you belly laugh and sing,.. they remind you of the times you’ve had, now how long has it been?,.. surely we are not that old? I only feel nineteen,.. they live through your relationships, the good bad and the rest,.. and survive, like you, to tell the tale, they really are the best,.. life is full of highs and lows, and precious is our time,.. so make sure that you appreciate them, like I do friend of mine.. x

Archival 350gm Matt Paper printed with Giclee Inks
Framing is completed by our local framer who is second to none. He frames for the likes of Paul Smith (who ship to him every week) as well as top London Galleries. We are so proud that he has taken on our work and the finish is lovely. He uses top grade smooth finish matt painted wood frames (2.2-4.0cm depending on the frame) which is cut, glued and fixed in house. The white core black and snow white thick mounts are cut by hand to fit each piece. They are then finished with top grade acrylic - which has 99% clarity, without the health and safety and breakage problems of glass. It actually costs us more! They are pre strapped ready to hang. This process takes in itself can take up to 10 days due to the work log we now have and the handi work involved.
What is a giclee print?
The word 'giclée' was created by Jack Duganne, a print maker, he wanted a name for the new type of prints they were producing on a large format high resolution ink-jet printer they had adapted for fine art printing. In the past few years, the word 'giclée', as a fine art term, has come to be associated with prints using fade-resistant, archival inks with multiple colour levels which increase the apparent resolution and color integrity. Basically they are the best digital prints you can buy, and are used in fine art 'reproduction prints'. Machines need at least an 8 colour mix to achieve this and we do NOT use simple desktop printers.
What is an archival paper?
It is a specially coated art card, which produces the best finish with the inks. We generally use either a silk or matt card depending on the "ping" of colour intensity which we require. They are papers which do not yellow with age.

Very quick delivery of my product, size A4 as requested. Nice quality paper and am very pleased with the print which I will frame myself as the cost of this I thought was quite expensive. This is a present bought for a friend's 50th birthday which I'm sure she will love!

The 2nd time I've bought this print, love them. Also, had a problem with Royal Mail damaging the first one I was sent and the customer service was quick, efficient and a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommended

EXPRESS options are only available on PRINT ONLY. We can expedite personalised prints to within 2-3 days subject to workload if you select express. We canot expedite the framing process as this can take up to 14 days.
How long is delivery, and how do you send the print?
Print only and personalised is in our standard delivery timeframe 2-5 days. Framed / Bespoke items are made to order and so can take from 14-28 days depending on demand.
Prints are sent wrapped in art cello and then rolled and placed in a coloured premium gift tube. These are placed in a plastic mailer bag for shipping. Framed items are sent via courier and someone must be there to sign for the items. If you are not and you miss repeated attempts, you will be liable for reshipping costs.
