Stunning handmade, fair trade and eco friendly leather covered journals lovingly crafted by rural Indian craftsmen.
Ideal for anyone who has a passion for writing, sketching, painting or just doodling.
These journals have 125 pages (approx. 150 for the XL) of unlined khadda paper; khadda is recycled cotton that has been left over from the massive garment industry in India.
It is handmade and doesn’t contain any chemicals as we use only unbleached cotton and is very easy to write on.
The paper is made by charity in rural Rajasthan that promotes women’s education and their social standing in the rural villages.
These journals are available inn 5 different sizes and 4 different designs.
They can be purchased in plain leather, embossed, stitched or stitched with a semi precious stoned on the cover.
The embossed pattern will not be the same as in the image as these items are handmade but they will all be equally lovely.
We do use a selection of semi precious stones, black onyx, tiger eye, lapis or laborodite. Please let us know if you would like a specific stone.

We are a fair trade company and regularly visit our suppliers to ensure the highest standards are met. We quality control all our products to ensure that you only receive the best products.
We pay our suppliers 50% upfront and send money to them whenever they need it. We never send anything back or not pay for damaged goods. We use a bonus system for the staff and they can earn up to 5% of our total order value which can give them an extra month’s wages per year.
The leather has been tanned by our suppliers using a natural dye and the put together using a mixture of love, contemporary and traditional skills.
These journals have been expertly crafted with the pages hand stitched in and are ideal for travelling and perfect for just doodling or diary writing.
Due to the handmade nature of these products colour and designs may slightly vary but loveliness comes as standard.
