Product description

Our soft, vibrant rugs have been hand crafted from recycled cotton rags. They have a reversible design and can be machine washed.

Can be used as an outdoor rug in dry weather only. Please bring them inside when not in use.

Pre-wash our non-colourfast rugs before use. Use an anti-slip underlay when placing the rugs on light-coloured carpets or hard floors. Professional dry cleaning is recommended, but machine washing on a cold or handwash setting is also suitable. Do not tumble dry.

To extend your rug’s lifespan, regularly remove embedded dirt. If colours fade, flip it over for a fresh look – the design is reversible.

Due to the handmade nature of our products each one is unique, but loveliness comes as standard.

Approximately:

Large 6ft x 4ft (180 x 120cm)

Made from

They are made from rags that have been left over from the garment industry and handmade on a handloom.

Our colourful rugs are handmade in partnership with the fantastic Barefoot College. Established in 1972, the organisation was formed with the goal of helping rural communities become self-sufficient and sustainable.

Working within the areas of solar energy, water, education, health care, rural handicrafts, communication, female empowerment, and wasteland development, they’ve certainly achieved their goal! We’ve seen for ourselves the incredible work they’re doing and are truly inspired by their organisation.

Due to the nature of this product colours may vary.
