Nyoki Handmade London

About

Where tradition meets modern, the kind way.

The roots of Nyoki Handmade trace back to our childhood in Kosovo, where the tradition of handmade crafting runs deep. Raised in homes adorned with handcrafted treasures and adorned in handmade clothing, we inherited a passion for craftsmanship from our mothers and grandmothers. Now, we pass this legacy on to our own children.

The Nyoki style is eclectic, blending vintage, traditional, and contemporary influences. Committed to ethical principles, our products meet stringent criteria for eco-friendliness, organic sourcing, recyclability and of high-quality. Sustainability is central to our ethos, reflected in every aspect of our brand – even our packaging is biodegradable, and our adhesives are water-based and solvent-free. We proudly source all our materials from the UK.

Where Conscious Luxury Meets Timeless Elegance.

But what makes our children’s clothes, accessories and greeting cards so special is that each product is individually handmade by Nyoki, so each product is completely unique. No two handmade items are quite the same and so there may be a slight variation on each design.

My mother, one of the founders of the company and maker of our handmade clothing, sadly passed away this year. As a result, our business is taking a slightly different path, focusing predominantly on greeting cards and accessories, and our handmade clothes are now limited edition. We have also recently welcomed my daughter, Jeta, to Nyoki - a testimony to our family-run business, which is now being passed down to a new generation of women.

It’s a family affair, but not only. It is also an ethical affair as Nyoki works closely with job creation programs in Kosovo, giving female survivors of the war the confidence and the financial means to support themselves and their families. The company is new (not even a year old) so the products are only available in London and onlline. That crochet hat and collar have something sweet, nostalgic yet modern. And versatile. Imagine the two pieces on an older child, colorful outfit, sporty look.

Nyoki creates beautiful baby booties, hats, bibs, cardigans and coats from the highest quality organic and eco-friendly materials, and in a wealth of beautiful and natural colours. A combination of vintage, traditional and contemporary, we love the hair accessories and booties and the adorable dresses in the new range.
