These journals are handmade from recycled traditional saris; some up to 25 years olds. The sari’s come in assortment of rich colours made from luxurious silk threads. This ensures that each journal is always unique. All Nkuku journals are gift boxed.

Nkuku journals contain recycled cotton paper. They have a smooth luxurious finish and are suitable for all pen types, drawing, oil painting and pastels.

The cotton used to make our paper is not grown specifically for papermaking. Instead we collect cotton left over from the clothing industry which would otherwise go to waste.

Each album is handmade in accordance with fair trade.
