UPGRADED DESIGN

As we are always looking to improve the quality and functionality of our products we carried out an upgrade on our rattles. We have replaced the small wooden rings with large, more robust rings for a better grasp and further helping babies to build those muscles through movement and manipulating the rings.

This personalised rattle/ grasping toy with large wooden rings is originally designed by New Line Gift in the UK according to the Directive 2009/48/EC on the safety of toys and being lovingly made since 2018 now proudly being sold on NOTHS too.

PLAY AND EDUCATIONAL VALUE

The purpose of the toy is to provide sensory engagement by offering different textures and a soft, calming sound (opposite the battery operated flashing, clapping, singing, beeping plastic toys) develop curiosity, motor and problem solving skills, helping a child to connect with the natural world without overstimulating, nurture their hearing, help them stay sensitive to the natural sounds around them.

It is a passive toy, designed to emit a soft sound when shaken. Babies will enjoy a rattle they can look at and listen to while a parent holds it for them. When shaken, wooden rings click together and make a soft clicking sound that catches baby’s attention. Once your baby is able to hold the rattle the wooden and silicone parts provide both smooth and bumpy surface and textures for sensory exploration and encouraging your little one to discover how to use their hands and developing their grabbing technique.

Rattle / grasping toy has been independently and professionally tested by a UKAS accredited test house in the UK to conform with the Toys Safety Directive and certified to meet European Standard EN 71 part 1-3 and carry the UKCA/CE mark.
