The Jam Jar Cover Kit fits onto the recycled jar it is packaged in, a perfect combination of craft, reusing and a practical knitting project you can use, which also looks great.
This kit would make a lovely gift on its own, or great for those of you who like to try your knitting hand at something a little different. This is a nice easy kit and is suitable for a beginner with a little help.

The kit comes with pure wool milled in Scotland, a wool felt heart and pattern to knit 1 cover. You just need to supply knitting needles and a little time.
Each jam jar I use for my kits has been recycled, and for every jam jar I receive I donate 15p to charity. As the jars are donated the one you receive may vary slightly from that pictured.
To keep your knitted cover in tip top condition simply wipe with a damp cloth to remove any dirt (not that you would want to get it mucky!) Pure wool will naturally pill, gently pull off any little balls to keep it looking lovely. If heavily soiled it can be hand washed in suitable wool detergent.

The finished cover measures approx 11cm wide once sewn up by 14cm high.
The finished cover in the pictures does not come with the kit.
