A picture speaks a thousand words.
Yellow Rose Design is an art print and greeting card publishers run by artist couple Faisal Khouja and Laura Mirjami who both have been full-time artists for over 10 years.
We use the name “Yellow Rose Design” for our business in memory of Faisal’s late father who always had a fresh yellow rose in the lapel of his blazer.
Although some of our prints and card designs incorporate a few words to describe the occasion, the majority of the cards are wordless as we believe that sometimes a good picture is worth a thousand words.
We have covered many of life's occasions from birthdays to weddings, newborn babies to graduations and more specific ones like celebrating passing a driving test, but many of our cards are suitable for any other occasion.
Whether you are after a card for that special birthday or the perfect little print for a child's room or nursery we hope you find something new and unique.
We have photographic cards and designs based on hand-drawn colour pencil drawings of Bilberry Woods animals characters that Laura has created and is currently writing children's stories about.
Then we have art cards and little prints of Faisal’s work that is based on either linocut prints or ink and pastel drawings.
All cards are printed in the UK with FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) approved card stock which means that paper used for our cards comes from a mixture of sustainable wood and from post-consumer waste.
