Mi Mariposa, 'My Butterfly', designs and produces beautiful clothes and accessories that combine irresistible design with the traditional hand embroidery of Highland Ecuador providing bright and fun alternatives to the high street.
Working with our women's co-operative, Nuevo Camino, in the foothills of the Imbabura volcano in Ecuador, we produce original and beautiful products, providing the mothers with a regular living wage, whilst preserving and celebrating an important cultural tradition.
Everything is beautifully embroidered by hand, not mass produced, giving each item its own charm, ideal for people looking for something a little different but not expensive, hand made yet contemporary.
