  while the quality was good, the spelling mistake ruined it for me. The company need to re assess their methods of not checking. It is so easy to miss a tiny letter on these vows, and r instead of a t and its spolit what should of been a happy occassion. I have no faults with not on the high street, they were very helpful. but the wedding vows print and their lack of help was not something i would recommend.

  For the price of this gift, was disappointed with a piece of paper stuck between two bits of card! If I had known it was like that I would of made it myself! I ordered small....didn't realise it was that small! Defiantly not value for money!!!!!

Therefore we welcome you to contact us directly so we can work with you to make a more positive outcome. To explain the points you have covered, when designing and testing different sizes for this item we decided to keep the print small as we felt as it got larger the beauty of the design was lost as the fonts became too bold. All our sizes are clearly stated on our product pages. The card around the print is in fact mount board and backing board. I include the mounting service free of charge as I believe it finishes off the product correctly and would mean it is presentable as a gift and for display right away, if the customer does not get it framed first. Finally we do feel our prices are very competitive as many hours of work go into each item before it is ready to be posted. Each mounted item we offer starts with us designing a bespoke proof of your unique vows, we then work with you to make as many changes as you want before your happy with your proof. The design is then printed to the best possible paper, cut and mounted, gift wrapped (if requested), framed (if requested) and packed ready to be posted. Again, we are sorry to hear you are not happy, please do contact us when your ready and we will work with you to create a happier outcome.

  Lovely piece but arrived in a terrible state, all of the packaging was torn and the print exposed. My husband, for whom it was a surprise, took in the delivery and saw what it was, even our lovely postie commented whoever wrapped that did a terrible job!

  The print itself is very good, however the images displayed in the shop showed framed vows which was not included in the product cost displayed. If it was made clear in the copy this should be made clearer prior to the order going through, or even better, a framing service offered.

  Bought as a 1st Wedding Anniversary gift for my husband. I bought the larger print in latte and it looks very smart and unique. My husband loved it and so do I. Communication with seller Gemma is excellent and any changes were sorted out very quickly and efficiently. It was beautifully wrapped and presented. Going to get framed and hang with pride on our front room wall.

  Flexible layout and professional finish. Nice choice of colours, and nicely mounted. A hook on the back for hanging would be good, although it probably needs to be framed anyway. Very pleased.

  First of all, a fantastic product. After scratching my head for weeks thinking about what to get my wife as a first 'paper' wedding anniverary gift, I stumbled across this 'wedding vows' print. A brilliant idea - a little nostalgic momento from you big day. My wife's first words to me after opening this was 'you've surpassed my expectations'..... so guess it went down well!!, IT DID. She had a tear in her eye as she loves it!!. To all blokes out there... THIS IS the gift for your missus to remind her of your big day on your first anniversary. The girls at Milly's Cottage were fantastic. I orderd this a week before my anniversary (on a thursday afternoon) and by sunday morning had the final proof images to review before final print (I asked for 2 different colours aswell as i couldn't decide). Picked the latte colour and it looks great. The overall presentation of the print when it arrived was fantastic - already wrapped in tissue paper / red and white stripped string with a brown paper tag attached. When I gave it to my wife she was impressed (she thought it was my handy work!!) with the wrapping and didn't want to open it!. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS AS A GIFT FOR YOUR WIFE!!!

  Having used this web site a few times and always been impressed with the quality, service, value and personal nature of gifts: I e mailed the words, they were e mailed back to me to proof read. When I asked for the words to be printed once not repeated twice (as my husband and I made the same vows to each other) I received a slightly stroppy e mail to say 'shame you want to change as it's what you ordered'. After confirming that the e mail was a reflection of what I had typed I received by registered post my words printed on paper and framed in a very standard, ordinary cardboard frame (the same as you would receive within a glass frame when you buy one). To say I feel cheated out of the £55 it cost me is an understatement and none of my family or friends can believe that I have paid £55 for something that I imagine cost about £3 to make maximum. The rest I assume covers packing and posting. I note that the cost of these on the website has since reduced to £35 and I would hope to see the cost reduce further to prevent other dissatisfied customers. Sorry NotOnTheHighStreet that this has been my first disappointment with you and it's rather a large one.

  Hello Ellen Firstly I would like to say how sorry we are to hear you not happy with the service you received. We try to offer the best possible customer service and want our customers to be happy with our products and service, with that in mind I am going to refund you in full now and it should appear back in your Bank account within 3 to 5 days. To explain ourselves and this product further; when you sent over your vows we did not know to only do one Column, so we did the standard two lines which have the same vows on each side so that they mirror each other, as shown on the product photo. We are always happy to do any requests the customer asks for so were happy to change it for you right away; I just sent that message so you understood why I had done both lines. The proofs are printed onto the highest quality paper we can use, any higher quality than that and sadly it won’t print correctly. You also spoke about our items being framed. We do mount our prints for presentation purposes but do not frame them. I hope that is a satisfactory response to your feedback but please do contact me through the notonthehighstreet.com website if I can help further?
