Handmade by milly and pip, this personalised new baby gift is also ideal to celebrate a christening, a naming day, a baby shower, a 1st birthday, 1st holy communion, christmas, or as a unique thank you pageboy or bridesmaid gift.
The embroidered fabric star can be filled with or without lavender to give a lovely calming scent and would look wonderful hung on a cot, bedpost or wardrobe door. It's the perfect finishing touch for a little ones bedroom or nursery.
The hanging star can be personalised with your own choice of words, which are freehand machine embroidered around the appliqued star in the centre.
Variations
For an extra special touch the back of the star can also be personalised. Your chosen words will be embroidered around a small star to match the star on the front (If no personalisation is required on the back, the back will be blank)

Made from
Blue, stone and cream stars are handmade using medium weight brushed cotton linen.
Pink star is made using light weight un brushed 100% cotton.
Embellished using raw edged applique with freehand machine embroidery, which is like writing/drawing by hand using the sewing machine as a pencil.
Filled with polyester stuffing, dried lavender can be added to give a lovely subtle scent to your star decoration.
