Lost & Found is an umbrella for crafted objects that combine sustainable, recycled or found materials with craft skills and the applied arts. Affordable objects that have a strong emotional appeal and which will be kept, rather than discarded.
We use local oak, sycamore, beech and elm plus sustainable hardwoods from managed forests
We also sell the occasional restored, rescued or reinvented item.
I believe that a ‘green’ design is one that uses materials that improve with age, will be cherished for generations, can resist the vagaries of fashion, and is made to resist the punishment of usage.
