The initial inspiration for this heart-shaped jewellery came from a commission.
I start by layering glass in the kiln, infusing shards and paints to create a unique design. After fusing and cooling, I cold work the glass with grinders, sculpting it into a perfect heart shape. A final touch involves re-firing to achieve a dazzling, fire-polished finish. Each heart is then delicately affixed to sterling silver. Perfect for those who appreciate unique, handcrafted jewellery, these earrings are an ideal gift for someone special.
