Memo Illustration is a range of hand screen printed items designed and made by Helen Entwisle. Memo Illustration came about during Helen's degree course at Norwich School of Art and Design in 2006 when she first began screen printing writing paper sets and skateboard decks and sold them in local shops.
Helen graduated in 2007 with a first class degree in Visual Studies and has been doodling, collecting, drinking coffee and screen printing ever since.
The current Memo range includes limited edition screen prints, greetings cards, tote bags and a number of stationery products and homewares. Helen takes inspiration for new products from her love of days gone by. She is a fiendish collector of mid-century kitsch, old stationery and cowboy shirts.
Each product is designed and printed by hand in Helen's home studio in Kendal, Cumbria. All paper materials used are locally sourced and 100% recycled, all inks used are water based, and the majority of clear packaging sleeves used are compostable. Every aspect of production is lovingly undertaken by hand!
