Tasting notes:
Nose – A fruit-fest on the nose. Predominantly Raisins and Grapes, but a secondary nose of intense freshly squeezed Orange Juice!
Palate – Very smooth, but extraordinarily complex. Freshness that belies its age. Fruit quickly clears to make way for the Vanilla-cut oak. Sherry follows on, interlaced with plenty of subtle malted barley.
Finish – Unrefined Brown Sugar digs in with the Barley to see off the encroaching oak. Delicate wafts of peat caress the palate for minutes afterwards.
