Green oak has been chosen to be honest to the nature of timber; that it moves. Green oak will certainly move, perhaps crack a little and twist a bit, characteristics intended to add further uniqueness to the work.
Marnie's oak boards use no glue, nor shiney applied finish, this means the boards can be cleaned in the dishwasher. The more these boards are used, the better they will look, and they are expected to be around for many years.
