Lucy is a textile artist based in Edinburgh.

Her work merges the traditional crafts of embroidery and printmaking with vibrant contemporary design, fresh colour palettes and lush botanical imagery.

A background in textile design led Lucy to react against quick digital processes, choosing instead to embrace traditional techniques, where due to the nature of the process, pieces would all be unique.

No stitch sewn by hand can be exactly replicated, and so every artwork Lucy creates is the only one of its kind in the world!
