April Mawhinney launched her label Little Red Designs in December 2005. Little Red Designs specialises in creating handmade leather handbags, purses & accessories from the finest leathers and lined with high quality satin fabrics. Little Red Designs products represent the Best of British: All leather is sourced in the UK from local leather wholesalers, as well as using UK based wholesalers to source all metalware and fabrics. All pieces are designed & handmade by April in her UK studio and are are either unique or limited edition pieces.

April lovingly designs and handmakes each piece in her studio. With each hide being individually chosen for its high quality, glorious colours. April mostly works to commission & prides herself in her level of knowledge & expertise in design, printing and leatherworking. No short cuts are taken & April only sells items which pass her high standards. April only creates items for the Little Red Designs label that she loves & treasures, & she hopes you will too!
