They were faulty and company took nearly a week to respond, by which point I had missed the birthday they were bought for. They did say they would refund me and I could keep the bookends or return them.

Whilst we always try to ensure every package is well protected for delivery, parcels can very rarely become slightly damaged in transit. We apologise for the delay in answering your query , our small office was under staffed that week and we did not answer all customers queries as speedily as we would have liked.
