For a unique wedding gift why not commission a beautiful sketch of their venue, hand drawn by local artists working in North Devon.

The drawing style is clean and contemporary with the sky and surroundings picked out in a range of colours. You can provide your own photo after ordering, just upload them by going to My Orders and submitting an enquiry, or we can work from Google street view or a weblink (see below for instructions).

Every illustration can be further personalised with a printed message. Choose from three typefaces (script, handwritten or a modern sans-serif). Your text will be printed on two lines, the top line being a slightly larger size eg: Mandy & Russ / St Michael's Church, 5th July 2012.

If you want to include two images we can also print both the church and reception venue in our double portrait.

How to provide a photo:

After ordering go to My Orders on NOTHS. Submit an order enquiry then upload a digital photo here. Or we can work from an image on a website, just send us the link. Or use Google Street View, go to Google.com, click on ‘Maps’ and enter the address. Click on the street view of the road or drag the yellow stick man onto the map. Use the pointers to locate your house. When you have a good view, click the link icon, copy the link and send it to us.

About the illustration:

Your Illustration will be hand drawn black & white sketch of the property, not a computer generated image, so we can add/remove things you don’t want eg: cars or lamp posts, and we won't include dustbins, satellite dishes etc. We will sketch the view from the photograph (ie the same perspective). It’s a simplified drawing of the house but if you want more detail we also offer a ‘Detailed portrait’ version. The drawing will be portrait or landscape that best suits the image. Although the house will be in black and white, we colour the sky duck-egg blue, the grass a sage green, paths stone or grey and windows cream. Bright paintwork such as front doors or painted concrete will also be coloured.

If you've asked for a digital proof, your illustration will be uploaded via a customer enquiry for you to check.

Made from:

Handrawn illustration coloured on the computer for lovely solid lines and digitally printed in a graphic, contemporary style with offset block colours on 200gsm acid free, fine grain artists paper.

Framing

We mount all the illustrations in a high quality bevelled white mount and also offer contemporary wooden frames from £22 - Black (2cm wide), contemporary matt white (2.5cm w), oak (2.5cm w), painted/limed white where you can still see some wood grain (3cm w), all supplied with Pilkington glass and a mdf backing board. The extra large frames have a shabby-chic feel with a distressed paint effect, showing the grain beneath with integrated hanging hook, ready for display. These larger frames are glazed with perspex for safe delivery. We use a high grade Quinn Perspex with perfect optical qualities (so it looks completely clear) and are UV stabilised (so they won't discolour over time).

Small - 25.5x25.5cm (10"x10") with an approx. image size 13x13cm (5"x5")

Large - 25.5x30.5cm (10"x12") with an approx. image size of 14x20cm (5.5"x8")

Extra Large - 39x39cm aprox.(15"x15") with an approx. image size of 28x28cm (11"x11")

Double Portrait - Choice of 2 sizes: 10x12 (framed in our normal 10x12 frames), or a long frame in either landscape or portrait or Extra prints? Additional copies of the same illustration are £23 each unframed.
