  Looks good on the internet, which is why I was prepared to spend nearly £40 on a blackboard but was very poor quality there was only half of the pins keeping the blackbaord in the frame and then they fell out (looked like they had been pushed in by hand). My Dad had to knock nails in the back of it in order to secure the board against the frame. If I had the time I would have sent it back and gone and bought a nice frame and blackboard and made my own! Was going to buy the personalised house picture but now not sure of the quality so probably wont bother!

  We're so sorry your blackboard arrived damaged. The pins attaching the board to the frame are inserted using a framers gun, the same as used on mirrors. However if the parcel was mishandled in the post damage may occur. We've contacted you as this is the first time we've heard there was damage, and offered a refund or replacement. From this feedback we are also introducing a wood glue as well as the pins to make sure all boards arrive intact.

  The chalkboard wasn't attached to the frame so we're having to fix it ourselves

  It is stunning and a real focus point for my kitchen. I'm getting lots of positive comments about it. I just love it! The only negative point I have is that it only came with one hanging bracket. As I planned to use this item for writing on I didn't want it swinging, so we used two of our own brackets to hang it. but of us that really wasn't a problem.

  My framed chalkboard arrived in perfect condition (super quick delivery by the way) and I am so happy with it! My kitchen to-do list is now very glam indeed! The perfect finishing touch to our gorgeous new kitchen. Fantastic value for such a great looking product. A very happy customer. Thank you Letterfest - I will be back!

  would have been good if there was something it could be hung from on the back and if it had come with chalk!

  The quality (for the price) is very poor. The frame is very plasticy. All in all, very disappointing. In addition, the chalkboard is simply mdf painted (very badly and unevenly) with blackboard paint. I used a chalk pen on it and I now have to repaint the board. I have suggested that Letterfest inform future purchasers not to use a chalk pen. The response I had from them was as disappointing as the product! This reflects badly on your business.
