This pretty floral pendant is one of a collection fashioned from recycled ceramics, carefully sanded and repaired by hand using kintsugi - a traditional, 400 year old Japanese technique known as 'golden joinery.'
Our modern method embodies all the beauty of this fascinating medium whilst making it affordable for everyone. We use genuine kintsugi techniques to repair ceramics - the joinery is not simply painted on.
All our products are vintage or pre-loved and may have a few scratches, blemishes and marks which have appeared over the course of their history. This is why we love them - as we hope you will.
Kintsugi philosophy teaches us to embrace our flaws and imperfections and to celebrate our differences.
