About
Kimberley Rose Studio is a stationery, wedding and lifestyle brand based in the south coast of England, created by illustrator, Kimberley Axell.
I completed an Art Foundation Degree back in 2007, before embarking on a totally different (and much less creative) career path in a bid to do the 'sensible' thing. But where's the fun in that?! I soon realised that it was a creative life I longed for and so dove head first into creating my own business in 2014.
Each product you'll find here is created by hand in my home studio, from the illustrated city prints to the greeting cards that are personalised and printed to order. All of my illustrations have been created digitally with my tablet.
My aim is to create products that are just that little bit different from those you might find in a high street store and with this in mind, I offer personalisation options on many of the items you'll find here.
I create many of my products using digital illustration techniques
Many of the illustrations you see on my products are painstakingly created by hand using a digital tablet and pencil, which mimics real-life art materials. I start by creating a digital pencil sketch and then add colour, texture and shading. These illustrations are then used to create cards, prints and even the fabric for the New York City Canvas Pouch.
