Black Sea Glacier Ring – Yellow Gold – Smoky Quartz

Dreams of Dark Creatures is a collection that explores the world of dreaming and the dark, sultry thoughts of our subconscious that can awaken in our dreams. The main inspiration for this collection came from a painting called ‘The Dream of the Fisherman’s Wife’ by the Japanese artist Katsushika Hokusai, and depicts a woman (a shell diver) enveloped in the arms of two octopuses in a passionate embrace. The pieces in the collection symbolise such things as passion, lust, anxiety, fear and the unknown, and have all been tied together with a strong nautical theme.

This ring features a cut emerald stone being taken over by the shards of metal, and is symbolic of change and the transformation into something new.

The ring is available with a White or Smoky Quartz stone, and sterling silver, 18ct Yellow/Rose gold plated silver.
