Hand-knitted cuddly woolly belemnites with tentacles
These hand-knitted belemnites are a must-have item for budding geologists and fossil hunters.
This cuddly gift shows how a belemnite would have looked before they became extinct some 65 million years ago with the dinosaurs. Belemnites were a relative of the modern-day squid and cuttlefish. You can find belemnite fossils in many Jurassic rocks along the UK coastline, particularly in Dorset.

Our son was delighted with this - even though he is 17! However, we were rather sad to see that the price was halved in the sale that followed Christmas day. Also, we were not able to specify the kind of colours we wanted - we were just lucky that the colourful one turned up.
