As an illustrator of over 10 years with a style of delicate watercolour and sketchy pencil line, I longed to experiment with different media. Thick paint, sand and a general eclectic mixing up of all things 'gooey' proved pretty successful and combined with a love of all things vintage led me to a rather interesting and dangerous attempt at distressing a brand spanking new leather armchair, (brillo pad involved!) Thank goodness it worked, (my husband could have killed me...) and propelled me onto bigger and better things.

I like my canvasses to look like they have just been discovered in the back of an old shed, beneath pots of paints and all manner of dusty bits and pieces, then cleaned up and, with a new lease of life, given a new home.

Each canvas is unique and made with tender loving care. Mostly made to order they can be sized to fit, colour and content can be tailored to your wishes and so do please talk to me regards any specific requests. All canvasses will arrive beautifully packaged and ready to be hung.
