To preserve the beauty of your resin gem, clean with plastic polish and remove your ring when sleeping, and in situations where it could be exposed to water for prolonged amounts of time (e.g swimming, washing hands and showering). Also keep the resin away from perfumes, beauty/cleaning products and keep it out of direct sunlight or extremes of hot or cold.
If you suffer with acidic skin we recommend you have your ring rhodium plated. Acidic skin can cause a chemical reaction between acids in your skin and the metal, or a reaction between substances such as hand creams. The acids cause the silver to oxidise which produces a black/green tarnish. The benefits of having your jewellery rhodium plated are that it won't tarnish as quickly and it has a bright finish similar to white gold. **Rhodium plated rings cannot be resized as this will ruin the plating**
