An original acrylic and mixed media painting by the artist Jo Nash.
Scintillation was in reaction to the theme of loss, and the confusion of rembering. I wanted to use the painting to deomonstrate the degredation of memeory over time. The use of mixed media collaging and layers of paint and plastic resins to create a fluid and texutral surface here adds to the degridation. In this piece I utlaised copper fragments to add to the reflective qualities within the surface.
All Canvases and stretchers are made to the highest exhibition quality, each piece has been produced on a canvas/stretcher that has been handmade by the artist using High quality 100% Cotton Canvas.
Mediums used on the piece are acrylic paint and mixed media imagery layered using plastic resins. The work has been glazed to produce a gloss finish, As this is a original piece of artwork colours may differ from the pictures and colours may change with time.
