The beginning of JoJo Accessories started when I studied Textile Design at Central Saint Martins were my passion for making things really started.
After 10 years of different creative and design positions i decided to turn my hobby of making old union jack flags into bags and cushions into a business which i started selling on a market stall in Spitalfields East London, Union Jack products were all the rage and Not on the high street saw my stall and i started selling on not on the high street in 2010.
Roll on to 2016 and new trends evolved, i used my collection of antique clothing, textiles and jewellery to inspire me for my latest collection of purses and washbags.
I seem to have an eye for anything sparkly and colourful, i especially love vibrant liberty print fabrics and monogrammed linen sheets so the marriage of these ideas gave me the idea of personalised and monogrammed products which are modern and fun.
I live in a lovely seaside town called Leigh on sea in Essex and work from my attic room cutting and sewing each product to order, with my black spainel Ted as company!
The ethos of the company is to create handmade and good quality textile products, which are unique yet fun.
