Joanne Hawker

Joanne Hawker is a passionate designer, illustrator and tea maker who resides in a small corner of Somerset. She loves nothing more than drawing, creating things and bringing smiles to peoples faces. She often turns her work into prints, cards and other lovely objects so that other people can own a little part of her world.

Joanne has a background in Graphic Communication after graduating with a first class degree in 2010 from the University of Wales Institute Cardiff. Since then she has been experimenting with different types of image making and textiles.

Joanne is hugely influenced by the natural world and in particularly woodland creatures. Her work often features subtle textures of some variety to help lift it off of the page and to bring it to life.

Joanne's work could be described as something for the young or for those who are young at heart. Her work is designed to make you smile, feel good and mostly importantly for you to enjoy.
