Flying Cranes Cushion In Hand Embroidered Wool

This beautiful cushion in luxury felt wool is available on a soft blush pink or a rich deep green ground.

It is appliquéd and hand embroidered with two beautiful red-crowned cranes in full flight, gliding through the clouds, in a striking combination of black and cream.Their feathers and wings are hand worked with intricate pale grey chain stitch detail.

These graceful East Asian cranes are known in some parts of the world as symbols of luck, longevity and fidelity. Fluffy clouds complete the design and the edges are finish with black blanket stitch. The back of the cushion opens with two mother of pearl buttons.

These lovely cushions have been hand embroidered by our very talented artisans, keeping alive the ancient, hands-on skills passed down through many generations.
