Adventures in linocut...

Hi there! I'm an artist/printmaker based in Sheffield, UK, and I specialise in linocut prints.

In my notonthehighstreet.com shop I sell exclusive poster-print versions on my linocuts. All the versions here are hand-signed and titled. The prints are generally of UK wildlife, with the odd exception! I've been working in linocut for around thirteen years, and full-time as an artist for seven years. i work from my studio at the bottom of my garden. I love linocut because it is so immediate, and the images that you create are always very graphic.

Outside of my personal work, I have created commissions for people like Sheffield Children's Festival, Tramlines Festival, The Hepworth Wakefield, Domino Records and Paul Smith Menswear. I also recently took part in the Sky Arts Portrait and Landscape Artist Of The Year TV shows, reaching the semi-finals in the latter.
