03 Jan 2012Disappointing and not what I was expecting. Smaller and lighter than portrayed on the website and not silver either (no hallmark). Bought this as a gift for my son's 21st but was too embarrassed to give it to him!
Hurleyburley man's response:
We are sorry to hear that you were not completely happy with your order. We have carefully selected the best photographs and written detailed descriptions and dimensions to portray an accurate and true representation of our products. The dog tag is 925 sterling silver, but not hallmarked as items under 9 grams in weight do not legally require hallmarking. The dog tags are manufactured for us in the UK and oxidised by hand, to then send them to the Assay office for a hallmark incurs an additional cost. The cost of silver is at an all time high and therefore we do all we can to offer good value and at £55 this compares very favourably to anything else on offer. We will happily return the dogtag to the assay office for hallmarking for you or if you no longer require it we will happily refund you for it as we wouldn't expect anyone to keep a product they were unhappy with.
