Hope House Press makes personalised leather bound stationery. We bind quality paper in luxurious Italian leather - and personalise our books with a characterful vintage style letterpress print.

Our notebooks, journals and diaries make great gifts for anyone who loves to put pen to paper.

All books are gift wrapped as standard, arriving beautifully presented in a luxury gift box, lined with tissue paper and hand tied with grosgrain ribbon.

We'll include a small plain gift card and envelope, for you to write your own message to accompany your gift - but if you'd like us to send your gift direct to the recipient, just include your message when you order - and we'll ensure a card printed with your message is tucked under the ribbon on the box.

An Important Note about Customs Charges Payable on International Deliveries Outside the EU

(NB This applies BOTH to Customers shopping from outside the EU - AND to EU customers requesting delivery of gifts direct to the recipient in Non-EU Countries)

We're always very happy to ship overseas - but there are some important things to be aware of, before placing your order. If you regularly shop internationally online, you'll already be aware of them. By placing an order with us, you are understood to have read and accepted the following advisory notice, which forms part of our Terms & Conditions of Sale:

Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the product price(s), or shipping and handling fees. These charges are the customer's responsibility - or the recipient's responsibility where gift are being sent direct. Whilst we understand that these charges add to the cost of the purchase - or involve a cost to receiving the gift, we respectfully advise that we are unable to enter into requests to falsify customs paperwork. As a company, we are obliged to honestly complete a customs declaration form for your parcel, which will inform the relevant authorities of the full retail value of the goods purchased - plus the additional postage costs. We are required to mark the parcel as 'goods', even though you may have purchased the item as a gift for someone else. We should advise that, ven if you send the item yourself, 'Gifts' over a certain value will also be liable for additional charges.

We advise customers to check with the destination country's customs office online, to determine what these additional costs will be - to satisfy themselves that they are happy to accept these charges, prior to placing an order. In addition to any taxes and duties, there may be a handling fee payable to the carrier. Please note: If you are asking us to send a gift direct - it's the recipient who will be asked to pay these charges - and unfortunately we are not able to arrange for you to pay these charges up front on the recipients behalf.

If you are asking us to send a gift direct to the recipient, to an address outside the EU, you are advised that they will be charged, before their parcel can be delivered. As our products are personalised, we respectfully remind customers that they are non-refundable and non-returnable. We are therefore unable to refund your purchase, if delivery of the goods is refused, because the addressee is unwilling to pay any duties/taxes/charges due.
