Harrington&Squires

Letterpress printers and designers producing limited edition cards and books as well as handmade calendars, printed hankies, badges and bespoke commissions.

Our name was inspired by Bob Harrington and Horace Squires, compositors and letterpress tutors at Hornsey College of Art in the late 1960s.

We have been inspired by all sorts of diverse things, from Greek wrapping paper used to wrap up meat or bread to paper bags and fruit labels. Anything that has a look of the handmade or hand-printed and that looks as though a person has been involved!

We use both traditional letterpress printing as well as digital printing to produce products which feel, and look, very different from the mass-produced.
