hannah-chan

Born in Tokyo and now based in North Buckinghamshire, Yasuko Naganuma started hannah-chan in late 2008. Using the hannah-chan label, Yasuko designs and makes by hand Japanese crocheted amigurumi toys and other items, such as brooches and key rings. All hannah-chan products are made with the highest quality materials. They are also super-cute and charming, and have lots of character!

The name hannah-chan combines two elements at the heart of Yasuko's designs - an English girl's name on the one hand and hana, the Japanese for flower, on the other. Perfect as lovable gifts for children, hannah-chan toys also have a habit of finding their way on to grown-ups' desks, attaching themselves to bags and decorating corners of rooms... anywhere, in fact, that needs a touch of colour, brightness and warmth.
