Half an Acre

Welcome to Half an Acre, a lovely meadow of flowers and dappled shade. In the centre are two trees where I hang my hammock and lie in the warm summer air dreaming of shapes, patterns and colours.

In the far corner of my half an acre is The Warren, home to 'Widget and Friends'. Widget is a small sock bunny who is in charge of all his bunny friends who live there with him. There are so many, and they are all so eager to go out in to the world that they jump into this shop, hoping someone will fall in love and offer then a lovely new home.

My name is Anna, a slightly off the wall mother of three small boys, also known as 'The Bunny Maker'. I handmake all the sock bunnies myself and have a hard time keeping them under control until they are off to new homes (its the bounciness, you see!). The wooden items are designed and hand-painted by me and are an explosion of the colours and patterns that inspire me. I design everything, it is then cut out by Mr Wood-Cutter- Man and then returned to me to be hand-painted to order. My things are designed to cheer up your days and put a smile in your heart.
