Your perfect mannequin!
Would you like a mannequin but haven't seen the perfect fabric in our selection? We can create mannequins in fabrics from most designers - perhaps you have a favourite Laura Ashley or Cath Kidston fabric - work with us to create your ideal mannequin. PLEASE NOTE, THIS LISTING DOES NOT INCLUDE YOUR CHOICE OF FABRIC.
Our bespoke service is available for all our models of mannequin - standard female, male or wasp-waisted.
You can also select the back finish (corset laced or hand stitched) and stand finish - natural beech, painted cream or painted black. Other colours may be available - please contact us (please note, wasp-waisted mannequins are only available with a painted stand).
The price displayed is exclusive of the fabric used. You purchase the fabric and send it to our studio where it will be made up into your mannequin. Please contact us to discuss fabric quantities and suitability. Fabric must be upholstery weight. Your mannequin will be dispatched within 21 days of receiving your fabric.
Mannequin bodies are made from tough moulded polystyrene. Our new wasp-waisted mannequins are made from a hardened foam.
Our standard female mannequins are a UK size 10/12. They have a 91cm (36") bust, 61cm (24") waist and 91cm (36") hips. Shoulder height is adjustable between 166cm and 192cm (54" and 57").
Wasp waisted mannequins have a 89cm (35") bust, a 53.3cm (21") waist and 99cm (39") hips. Shoulder height is adjustable between 122cm and 152.4cm (48" and 60").
Male mannequins have a 96.5cm (38") chest, 85.1cm (33.5") waist and 101.6cm (40") hips and are height adjustable between155cm and 190.5cm (61" and 75").
All mannequins are stitched using quality threads on industrial sewing machines and seams are top-stitched for added strength. Each mannequin takes considerable time to create, ensuring a perfect fit. Our mannequins are available with a ribbon laced corset back or a simple hand stitched seam. Mannequin covers are not removable. We suggest cleaning your mannequin with a clean,damp sponge only, or treating with a fabric protectant such as Scotchguard
Upon receiving your mannequin, some minimal reassembly will be required.
