Easier and quicker to knit than a scarf- and much, much cuter!
Our bestselling Plump Flump knit kit comes in four colours of gorgeously chunky self-striping wool and make an ideal gift for a novice knitter- the kit uses just the basics of knitting: casting on, knit stitch, purl stitch, and casting off- with no increasing or decreasing or changing colours as the self-striping Fair Isle wool does all the hard work. The kit comes with plenty of stuffing, but you can weigh your Flump down with something heavier to make a doorstop or a bright bookend for a child's room.
Now available as a personalisable kit exclusively on notonthehighstreet (personalise your finished Flump with a felt initial- just choose which single letter you'd like when ordering) the kit makes a perfect gift for a young (or not so young!) lady learning to knit.
Each kit makes one Flump in the self-striping colour of your choice- the yarn is the best quality chunky available, so it is a pleasure to knit.
*If one flump isn't quite enough, we also offer an excellent value 'TWO Flumps Knit Kit- you can find the link on the right of this page*
Kit contains: plenty of wool, bamboo knitting needles, plastic darning needle, thread, felt, stuffing, beads, simple-to-follow full-colour illustrated instructions, and a promise of full post-purchase help just in case you get stuck! (a gift card with your message can also be included at no extra cost if the kit is being sent as a present.) All packaged in an attractive Gift Horse kit box, tied with a handwritten tag and painted wooden heart, and sent first class (The only item not included in this kit for safety reasons is a metal sewing needle.)
Measures approx 16cm tall by 16cm wide when completed. Flumps are indolent, lazy creatures so prefer to lie down, but are happy to lean against something to stand up! Not suitable for young children due to small parts.
"Everyone needs a Plump Flump in their life! This kit by Gift Horse Knit Kits contains everything you need to make one of these little creatures and is the perfect gift for a beginner knitter" Let's Knit Magazine
