Dinky DIY sewing kit to make two rabbit brooches, comes packaged in a cute little tin and uses superior quality, 100% wool felt.
These cute little crafty kits are handmade in Yorkshire, and contain all the materials you need to make two of your very own little rabbit brooches, one light grey and one dark. I like to keep the kits nice and simple so they are suitable for people with very basic sewing skills (age 7+).
They are perfect for children who are just learning to sew, however some children will need adult supervision and perhaps a little bit of help. They also make great gifts for crafty adults who enjoy making and creating in their spare time.

With kits the end product is very important, after you have gone to the effort of making your brooch you want it to look fantastic. Bearing that in mind I have sourced superior quality, 100% wool felt which is 3mm thick. The thickness of the felt means the brooch will keep it's shape really well.
Kit contents: Instructions with diagrams, two pieces of 100% wool felt (precut), four pieces of craft felt (precut), two glass beads, two lengths of ribbon, embroidery thread, embroidery needle and two brooch backs.

The kit comes in a handy little tin which is 2.8 cm deep with a diameter of 8 cm.
After you've created your brooches they're great for storing buttons, beads or crafty bits and bobs in. Or, if you're feeling generous you could make one of the brooches for a friend, then the tin becomes the perfect sized gift box.
Please note this is not a toy and should be kept out of reach of young children as it contains choking hazards and a sharp needle.
