Emma Purdie is a Devon based design studio specialising in luxury, contemporary lampshades and interior textiles. We source and use beautiful and luxurious fabrics which we hand screen print using a variety of print processes. Natural artist linens are used with fun, quirky prints to create gorgeous lampshades and accessories to compliment any interior. Our products are inspired by our environment then lovingly designed and screen printed by hand. Our lampshades are then carefully hand constructed and rolled on to their frame.
This delightful collection of lampshades will add a unique focus to any nursery, playroom or living space. Our patterns are taken from Emma’s original drawings which are then re worked as repeat patterns and over printed; they have the ability to compliment any environment. Colour plays a huge part in our products, subtle tones and lively colour palettes are used alongside metallic and pearl finishes to create stylish, smart addition to any space.
Every lampshade is screen printed by hand on to beautiful linen by Emma in her studio in Devon. Once printed it is hand rolled on to the wire work of the shade.
Emma's collection of lampshades and interior textiles is made using beautiful fabrics, hand printed techniques, vibrant colour palettes along with bold and quirky designs which add a splash of excitement, colour and joy to any interior space.
Emma regularly works with interior designers and independent clients to create bespoke lighting and interior textiles. In 2014 Emma created a lampshade collection for Not on the high street, a year later the collection is bigger and its popularity is rapidly growing.
All Emma's designs are screen printed by hand in her studio by the sea in Plymouth.
