Beautiful and unique, our personalised house name signs make a wonderful treat for your own home, or an inspired and original gift for someone special.
Hand made to order, our signs are crafted from reclaimed wood. A faded cream background and black lettering gives a timeless, classic look and the gentle distressing creates an age-old vintage finish.
You choose the name you would like on your sign - from the name of your home, farm or guest house to the name of your beach hut, holiday home or secret den. Or why not choose a name that means something extra special to you such as your favourite beach or holiday location.
We can fit up to 15 characters on one line, so if your sign is more than 15 characters long it will automatically be made on two lines. All our house signs are waterproofed with a clear matt seal to protect them from the elements. For an additional £1 we can added a rusted wire hanger to your sign.
Dimensions: 55cm x 15cm. Waterproof sealed for outdoor use. We do not predrill our house signs, leaving you free to fix however you wish.
Because we want our signs to have an aged appearance we avoid using shiny varnishes. Instead we use a construction grade wood sealer that is absorbed into the wood withouth leaving a shine to the surface.
The wood we use for our signs is reclaimed such as old floor boards and wooden planks which can vary in depth and thickness. Some pieces have uneven surfaces, edges, knots and old nail holes which give our signs a rustic appearance, please be familiar with this style before ordering. As our supplies of reclaimed wood is ever changing, signs may differ slightly from those shown in the photographs.

It is so rare these days to get such a personal service. Anne at Delightful Living was a 'delight' to do business with - my product was completely bespoke to my needs and I felt that real care and attention was given to both me and the sign I bought. What was good: beautiful styling, lettering and distressing just like the pics, fast delivery. Not so sure: doubt if finish would cope with weather, so I varnished it before putting up outside
