CuCuu is brought to you by Rebecca Paterson who lives and works in Edinburgh. Her one-of-a-kind bags and accessories are lovingly made with lots of upcycled fabrics embellished with applique designs, flowers, buttons and sparkly beads.

Forgotten trousers, once loved curtains and scraps of fabric, are artfully transformed into quirky bags, unusual corsages or useful little purses to be loved once again by you!

CuCuu products often feature touches of tartan ingeniously combined with other fabrics to create fashionable accessories with a Scottish influence. Inspiration comes from what is seen and experienced in nature. This is interpreted into fun, abstract designs interspersed with bird, dragonfly, flower and star motifs. Rebecca's distinctive creations display an exciting sense of colour and interesting combinations of texture and pattern.

CuCuu products represent not only beauty and uniqueness but also high quality of design, strength and durability.

Alongside the textile products are an array of funky, chunky hand-painted wooden bead jewellery. Any colour imaginable is possible and necklaces and bracelets can be made to your desired length.

Rebecca loves a creative challenge! Commissions are warmly welcomed. Maybe you have some old fabric with special memories attached that she can incorporated into a CuCuu design or she can use fabric from her abundant stock and create a bespoke bag or accessory to match a particular outfit.
