Make your own designer quality wool fabric cushions with these beautiful sewing kits and no need to go anywhere near a sewing machine! These cushions are bang on trend and will be enjoyed by teenagers and older children keen on textiles, creativity and cool design and actually there is no reason why the adults shouldn’t have a go too.
These ethically produced, highly contemporary craft kits are made in the UK with natural materials; with gorgeous thick 100% milled wool fabric and accessories to embellish the look they really will inspire. The process of milling the wool fabric is similar to felting which helps the fabric not to fray so no hemming is needed and the cut out shapes can be sewn directly onto the cushion base. The cushion kits also come with a sewn envelope back, which means when the back and front are sewn together, a cushion pad can be easily slipped through.
Fantastic results pretty much guaranteed make these an ideal creative gift for children with some sewing skill already. Pattern layout ideas and templates are included but the child may like to design their own and each kit comes with two skeins of wool threads, two skeins of embroidery threads and a metal needle too. Takes a 45cm by 35cm cushion pad (not included).
