A beautiful personalised solid oak child's stool with the option of engraving one, two, or all three sides - perfect as a Christening gift.
Children adore having their own personalised stool. We designed our stools to be virtually indestructible thanks to their chunky solid oak construction, with through-tenon leg joints and no screws, nails or other fixings. They are stable and very useful - they can double up as side tables or plant stands.
These stools make wonderful christening or birthday presents, marked with a name and date, and a set of stools named for each child in a family stops any squabbling about who is sitting where!
Our customers tell us they love to invest in furniture like this that is built to last.
One line of engraving (on one side of the seat) is included in the price. If you prefer two or three sides of the seat engraved (or no engraving at all), please just select from the options above.
We will use the same letter style and type of layout that you see in the images: we adjust the font sizes and positions to create the best result. We don't charge by the letter, but we suggest a maximum of 15-18 characters to fit comfortably on one side of the stool seat.
These stools are made from kiln dried oak.
We apply a simple oil finish, which soaks in and dries to a very pleasant smooth matt sheen, with no lacquers or varnishes to flake off over time. The wood can be cleaned with a damp cloth, and re-coated with oil should it be needed (recommended once or twice a year) to maintain the finish.
Please note that the colour and figuring of wood varies quite a lot, and even similar pieces can develop differently during oiling. The images should therefore be used as a guide only, the finish you receive may be a little lighter or darker. All solid timber can change as it ages, and you should protect your product from constant changes in temperature and humidity.
These products should not be immersed in water.
The size is approx 28cm high and 28cm across the widest part of the seat.
