Cherish Handmade, a place for unique personalised handmade textile gifts.

I've always been a creative person, taking up cross stitch and crochet at a young age and loving making things from scratch. I have completed many courses in Art and Design I finally gained a degree in Printed Textiles in 2007. After finishing my degree I began to paint canvases, taking inspiration from my previous designs as well as current wallpapers and fabric prints. I made enough money doing this to buy myself a little sewing machine which rekindled my love for sewing and creating and have never looked back.

After a little practice I began designing bags, purses and other fun things and that is how I began my journey as the creator of Cherish Handmade. My future ambitions for my business are to combine my passion for fabric with my love for Art and design and eventually creative my own collection of fabrics to use exclusively in my products.

All my creations are made completely by me, by hand in my spare room. I work in a smoke and pet free environment and everything is made with care and love.
